September 1, 2005

Two women were killed when their car, stopped in a highway lane, was hit by a pickup truck.

The accident occurred at about 11:45 on Friday morning on Interstate 76 just near Bromley Lane.

The driver of the pickup truck was shuttled to an area hospital. The injuries he sustained are not believed to be life threatening.

I-76 was closed in both directions for many hours while police investigated the crash site.
