Woman Killed In Nebraska Head On Car Accident

A woman was killed on a trip to Colorado. The woman died late Wednesday afternoon on Hwy. 30 near Central City, Nebraska.

Jeanne Brooks, 75, died after the vehicle she was driving crossed the center line on Hwy. 30 and collided head on with another vehicle.

Brooks' grandson, Grant Hendrix, 9, also of Woodbine, a passenger in the front seat of the car was injured in the accident and transported to a local hospital with broken bones and other injuries.

Other details of the accident, including the number of people in the other vehicle and any injuries that might have been sustained were not available at press time.
