An investigation is being conducted to determine the cause of the fatal airplane crash near Centennial Airport.
The crash occurred Saturday night and claimed the lives of all four people on board.
The Cessna 425 that was involved in the crash marks the fourth fatal accident to occur in the last nine months near the airport.
The plane fell out of the sky about three miles south of the runway and not even a mile away from an apartment and housing subdivision.
A spokesman from the National Transportation Safety Board speculate that rain could possibly have played a part in the accident.
There were large power lines in the area, but there is still no evidence showing that the plane may have struck them before it hit the ground.
Nobody besides the passengers were injured or killed and the victims have not yet been identified.
Friends of the victims made a trip to visit the site yesterday morning. Buddy Lewis, a man that was familiar with the victims, says Stephen Gavit was the flying the plane and the passengers were Gavit's teenage grandson, his grandson's friend and Gavit's friend.
